Meet the designer: Emily

Hi! I'm Emily! I'm a devoted wife to my husband Mike, and mom of two amazing, fun little girls (my Two Little Birds) and feel so grateful every day for the life I was given. It has been the greatest joy to raise my girls and see them grow with beautiful, independent, and fierce spirits! Nothing compares to being their mom, and although they challenge me daily, my world is better with them in it.

I am inspired by creativity, achieving my goals, and personal growth. I’ve always been a creative person and a crafter, never afraid to try new things. I’ve learned how to sew, how to quilt, how to knit. However, it wasn't until I started to crochet that I felt a true passion and love for this particular craft. Maybe it was the release I felt after a long day, the hour or two I was able to sit down and think of nothing but the stitches. Maybe it was the endless opportunity for creativity. Not sure, but I fell in love, I knew this was it. Opening my business was the perfect opportunity to share this love of crochet with others who have the same passion for the craft.

From the beginning of the design process to photographing the final product, I am in the moment and loving each and every step of the way. When purchasing one of my patterns, you know a lot of love and time went into making all the details perfect.

My hope is that you will fully enjoy the patterns you purchase from my shop. Make something unique for a special friend, or something warm and cozy for yourself. See the world through a child’s eyes, be kind and authentic, strive for personal growth, and be creative! Maybe you too, will be an inspiration for someone!
